On Saturday, 23rd August 2025, members of the SCOBA ’07 family gathered in solidarity with our brother, Mr. Ambrose Chidume, as he laid his beloved father, Late Mr. Okeke Ambrose Chikwe, to rest.
Late Mr. Chikwe, aged 68, peacefully passed away on 28th June 2025. Fondly remembered as a devoted father, grandfather, and pillar of his community, his passing was a moment of deep sadness not only to his immediate family but also to all who knew him.
The burial events commenced with a Christian Wake Keep on Friday, 22nd August 2025 at his compound in Ihuowere, Ngo Village, Igbo-Ukwu, Anambra State. On the following day, his body left Apex Mortuary, Igbo-Ukwu, at 7:00 AM for lying in state, followed by a Burial Service at 10:00 AM and condolence visits from in-laws, friends, and well-wishers at 11:00 AM.
Representing the SCOBA ’07 family at the burial were Mr. Irechukwu Francis, Mr. Chibuike, and Dr. Asomugha, who joined the family to honor his memory and show support to our brother Ambrose during this difficult time. The ceremony ended in praise, and all members returned safely to their respective locations.
The SCOBA ’07 family remains committed to standing together in times of joy and in moments of grief. We pray that the soul of Late Mr. Okeke Ambrose Chikwe rests peacefully in the Lord, and we extend our heartfelt condolences to the Chidume family.
