On the 22nd of April 2025, one of our esteemed SCOBA ’07 members, Magnus Odirachukwu Okeke, celebrated his traditional marriage in a joyful and colorful ceremony.
The event took place at late Mr. Ikechukwu Nnamani’s compound, located in Egu Isienu Ajame-Agu, Akpawfu, in Nkanu East Local Government Area of Enugu State, Nigeria. The ceremony kicked off at exactly 12 noon.
Despite the heavy rainfall that day, the celebration went on smoothly. The bride and groom were undeterred and danced happily, cheered on by their loved ones. Guests, including friends, family, and well-wishers, came out in large numbers to support the couple. Many showed their joy by spraying the newlyweds with cash as they danced.
The president of SCOBA ’07 was present at the ceremony. He was warmly received and treated to delicious food and drinks. He also took memorable pictures with the celebrant, which have been shared in the SCOba ’07 general WhatsApp group. Members joined in to congratulate Magnus on this new chapter.
It was indeed a successful event that ended on a joyful and thankful note. We wish Magnus and his beautiful bride a happy and blissful marriage ahead.
