The long-awaited SCOBA 07 Inauguration Ceremony took place in grand style at Smart’s residence, a beautiful venue graciously hosted by one of our most active and supportive members. The event, which began at exactly 2:00 PM, marked the official induction of the newly elected executives who are set to lead the association into a fresh and promising chapter.
The ceremony was honored by the presence of the ELECO chairman, who witnessed the formal proceedings and ensured that everything was conducted with transparency and order.
One of the key moments of the day was when the new executives stood to read out their oath of office, swearing allegiance to uphold the values, rules, and mission of the association in good faith. This symbolic moment signified their readiness to serve with integrity, unity, and commitment.
The newly elected President of Scoba 07 delivered a heartfelt first speech, expressing gratitude for the support received during the election and outlining his vision for the association. This was followed by an encouraging address from the Vice President, who also pledged dedication to the collective goals of the group.
As the formalities concluded, the celebration kicked into full gear. Members were treated to a delightful assortment of refreshments from palm wine to fine wines and premium beer drinks. The food menu was just as impressive, featuring delicious white rice and stew, and the traditional favorite, Nsala soup with Semovita, all served hot and fresh.
The laughter, bonding, and great vibes continued until around 5:00 PM, when the event gradually came to a close. It was indeed a memorable day filled with unity, joy, and a renewed sense of purpose.
